gardenweed has replied to a comment on Archaeology: Digging for the Truth of the Bible:So I take it that whenever I see the word Day in the bible it can mean anything you need it to mean. Jesus walked in the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights. Same word (Yom) He was buried in the tomb for 3 days and 3 nights. I doubt either of those occasions meant anything more than what they actually said. Obviously when it doesn't make sense, change the meaning.MozALoser has made a comment on Archaeology: Digging for the Truth of the Bible:So very interesting. I have some pottery shards I picked up from my trip to Israel from the tel of Meggido. Would love to have been an archeologist and participate on a dig. The Bible is true... historically and spiritually. It's Gods instruction book for all humanity. Next on His agenda... King Jesus is coming back in the clouds to claim His Holy mountain, resurrect all His saints from all of history and begin the Kingdom. Thanks for the video. Maranatha!GoodyBob has replied to a comment on Archaeology: Digging for the Truth of the Bible:Exactly! The new age skeptic clones will believe any garbage like zeitgiest, Dan Brown, etc. over proven truth! Biased Jewish archaeologists would be shunned if they supported Jesus was the Messiah after all. I wish they'd read about famous ex-atheist archaeologist Sir William Ramsay(not chemist one). He tried to prove Luke wrong- yrs. later after digs he said Luke was the most accurate historian. Skeptics always said the Pool of Siloam, where Jesus healed the blind man never existed- it's here.A Creation Challenge to the Chickens of Evolution - Researchers: Ancient human remains found in Israel - for Evolutionists Who will Defend Their Position (DEBATE DODGERS) Through the Bible: David and Goliath - biblical figures whose existence has been attested by archaeology or other preserved ancient records are the following: archeologists in Israel are declaring that archeology has proved "the Israelites were never in Egypt, did not conquer the land in a military campaign and did not pass it on the 12 tribes of Israel," and "the empire of David and Solomon never existed."At the same time, other leading archeologists strongly disagree, assuring us that such claims "are either grossly misleading, illogical, disingenuous or all three."Can the Old Testament be trusted for its historical account and does archeology provide evidence for its accuracy. What does the evidence say?
