She read English at Oxford, where she was the editor of Cherwell, one of the oldest student publications in the UK. Her first book, The Meaning of Sunglasses: A Guide to (Almost) All Things Fashionable, was published in 2008.Caryn FranklinFormer fashion editor and co-editor of i-D Magazine in the eighties, Caryn Franklin presented and directed the BBC's Clothes Show for 12 years. She authored and co-produced numerous documentaries and various other TV programmes as well as 4 books. Now a fashion commentator and educationalist she proposed the London College of Fashion's Centre of Sustainability and is its current ambassador. She has co-chaired Fashion Targets Breast Cancer for 15 years and is co-founder of the award winning All Walks Beyond the Catwalk - a campaign and educational initiative to broaden the range of body and beauty ideals in our media. All Walks recent collaboration with the National Portrait Gallery attracted a record breaking 4000 guests to take part in the evening.Prof. Beth DincuffBeth Dincuff is a fashion professor at Parsons the New School of Design, New York. She is a former manager of the Calvin Klein Archives, which was a creative resource for every part of the company. She has worked with numerous designers and costumers, and has contributed to the exhibitions Dangerous Liaisons, Goddess and Chanel, as well as being a regular contributor to publications like the online Grove Dictionary of Art and The Timeline of Art History.OPPOSITIONSir David TangSir David is a Hong Kong businessman and socialite perhaps most famous for founding the Shanghai Tang fashion chain. He also founded China Clubs, Havana House and Pacific Cigar Company Ltd. More recently, he opened the Cipriani in Hong Kong and the China Tang restaurant at the Dorchester Hotel. Tang is also a director and advisor to a number of boards, including Tommy Hilfiger, and contributes an 'agony uncle' column to the weekend Financial Times.Grace WoodwardGrace Woodward is a fashion stylist and television presenter, and is currently a judge for Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model. She was Head of Press at Agent Provocateur, and has since launched Grace Woodward Creative in 2008. In 2009, she was awarded Stylist of the Year by The Clothes Show and British Fashion Council. Her clients include La Roux, Emilia Fox, Florence and the Machine, and Pharrell Williams, and she has styled Green Day for the cover of Rolling Stone.Hilary AlexanderHilary Alexander is a journalist and the Fashion Director of The Daily Telegraph. In May 2001, she was awarded the title Visiting Professor by the University of the Arts London, which is responsible for the fashion colleges Central Saint Martins and London College of Fashion and the Chelsea and Camberwell Art colleges. She was on the BBC's Style Challenge for three years, and is the regular stylist and presenter for the Designer Catwalk shows at the annual Clotheshow Live in Birmingham.RESULT NOT RECORDED
