Arbitration has become one of the preferred methods of alternative dispute resolute to handle such conflicts. Arbitration on an international scale, however, presents unique issues for those involved. Where should the arbitration occur? What law is used? How is an international judgment enforced? This presentation will identify these unique issues, illustrate ways to handle them and prevent them from happening, showcase the prevailing treaties and conventions, and walk participants through the arbitration process from drafting arbitration agreements to enforcing the judgments.
