Presented Friday, June 18th, 2010 at the CETC&CUE Online Teaching Conference. Candace Thille, Director of the Open Learning Initiative (OLI), describes some of the results of OLI practices. OLI students showed greater learning gains and completed courses sooner than traditional students. OLI students had a 99 completion rate vs. 41 for traditional students. Thile describes OLI goals for community colleges and progress to date.
